Nessibles started with one goal in mind: make people smile. A little over a year ago I found myself laid off from my career in financial system administration. I had moved to New York and left behind the life I had built in D.C. for that role. Goodbye comfort, goodbye partner, goodbye to everything that made me feel at home. It was a huge change and even farther from family, I dedicated myself to work. The layoff jolted me out of what was a generally sad and helpless year. While trying to figure out next steps I started baking again. Every bake was shared amongst friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. Over time, watching their joy and excitement helped me to find my smile. That love of spreading joy and happiness through flavor led me to start Nessibles.
